Carole Evans is a photographic artist, cultural organizer and educator. 

Her most recent project is an exploration into how photography can be used to evoke and reconstruct memory; previous work explores themes of heritage, nostalgia, and community.

In 2011, Carole co-founded Portrait Salon, a salon de refusés of images which have been rejected from the Taylor Wessing Prize at the National Portrait Gallery. She is currently Associate Senior Lecturer in Contextual Studies at Ravensbourne, and also teaches on the BA Photography course at University of the Creative Arts, Farnham.
