Ioana Marinca

Transylvanian-born Ioana is based in East London and uses photography as a visual diary. Always fascinated by people, she started documenting her family from the age of nine. Now in her 30s, Ioana's work focuses on street and documentary photography as well as exploring the notion of home - particularly understanding what makes each of the countries she's lived in feel like home (Romania, Ireland and now England). Ioana is a member of AllFormat Collective, a group of 15 analog photographers who promote film photography and darkroom printing through zines, prints and social media.
