Yvonne de rosa
Founder of Magazzini Fotografici. Photography represents the instrument that can take me beyond the purely aesthetic of representations and that led me to be passionate about the study of human beings. After graduating in political science, with a deep passion for photography, I went to study in London at Central Saint Martins and London College of Communication.
My first book was a photographic series from a psychiatric hospital, where I had served on a volunteer basis for three years. As a freelance photographer I have been working with British NGOs, that allowed me to travel in eastern Europe and this is the focus of my second book 'Hidden Identities. Unfinished', published in spring 2013 and exhibited at the V&A museum of Childhood.
